I don’t think I had ever had a turnip until I started making food for my little one. I began to obsess (just a little) with making sure she had a variety of nutrients and colours of vegetables – you know, for the antioxidants. I started to explore the vegetable department and find things to do with odd and/or unpopular vegetables.
Now a lot of recipes will tell you that adding sugar will help to bring out the flavour of the turnips but, this recipe will show you that it’s not necessary. It was a hit with the whole family!
